Over in the Federal League, John Elway of Milwaukee captured the majority of the vote for Player of the Week following an outstanding offensive stretch. The 36-year-old right fielder posted a .409 batting average, going 9-for-22 with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs.
For the year, Elway is hitting .252 with 14 home runs, 26 RBIs, and 26 runs scored, proving that experience still packs plenty of punch.
