The Doubleday Baseball League has received two formal submissions for team relocation and one submission for team rebranding and renaming.

While the league continues to evaluate the relocation proposals, a decision has been made regarding the rebranding request.

Effective with the start of the 1996 season, the Orlando Sun Rays will officially be renamed the Orlando Devil Rays.

Further updates regarding potential relocations will be announced once evaluations are complete.
