Official Schedule Leading to Trade Deadline

The Doubleday Baseball League today announced the official simulation schedule for the month of July, concluding with the league’s annual trade deadline.

Simulation Schedule

  • October 3 – July 4–6 (3 games)
  • October 6 – July 7–9 (3 games)
  • October 7 – July 10–12 (3 games)
  • October 8 – July 13–14 (3 games)
  • October 9 – July 15–18 (All-Star Game)
  • October 10 – July 19–21 (3 games)
  • October 13 – July 22–23 (2 games)
  • October 14 – July 24–25 (2 games)
  • October 15 – July 26–27 (2 games)
  • October 16 – July 28–29 (2 games)
  • October 17 – July 30–31 (2 games)

The trade deadline will officially take place on October 17 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. As part of the deadline schedule, games of July 30 and July 31 will be simulated prior to the deadline, ensuring that all clubs have full clarity on league standings and team performance before making final roster decisions.

The league office reminds all organizations that the trade deadline is the final opportunity to complete transactions for the 1996 season. Following the deadline, rosters will be locked with no additional trades permitted.
