Doubleday Baseball League Announces 1995 Gold Glove Award Winners

The Doubleday Baseball League is proud to unveil the recipients of the 1995 Gold Glove Awards, recognizing the premier defensive players in both the Federal League and United League. These athletes demonstrated exceptional fielding skill, consistency, and leadership throughout the season, setting the standard for defensive excellence.


Federal League Gold Glove Winners

Pitcher: Kevin Brown (Kansas City)
Catcher: Dan Wilson (St. Louis)
First Base: Mark Grace (Chicago Cubs)
Second Base: Dickie Thon (St. Louis)
Third Base: Tim Naehring (Kansas City)
Shortstop: Omar Vizquel (Boston/Cincinnati)
Left Field: Darren Lewis (New York Yankees)
Center Field: Reggie B. Williams (Minnesota)
Right Field: Bernie Williams (Cincinnati)


United League Gold Glove Winners

Pitcher: Ben McDonald (Baltimore)
Catcher: Sandy Alomar Jr. (San Francisco)
