Free agency will officially open on Sunday, July 27 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, with the first round of bidding closing on Monday, July 28 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Subsequent rounds of bidding will close each evening thereafter at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

📝 Bid Submission Guidelines

  • All bids must be submitted via your designated team channel.
  • Confirmation of receipt and entry will be provided for each submission.
  • Each bid must include the following details:
    • Player Name
    • Contract Length (in years)
    • Annual Salary (per year)

📊 Contract Structure and Bid Calculations

  • Refer to the official contract valuation chart for guidance:
    🔗 Free Agency AAV Chart
  • Once a player receives a multi-year offer (two or more years), no further one-year offers for that player will be accepted, regardless of value.

🔄 Restricted Free Agents (RFA) Update

This year, teams are not required to finalize their RFA decisions prior to the start of free agency. Instead:

  • Teams must notify the league of which RFA players they intend to keep and re-sign no later than Saturday, July 26 at 8:00 AM Pacific Time.
  • Any RFA player not designated for retention by this deadline will be released into the free agent pool.
  • Important: Once the Saturday deadline passes, teams are fully committed to any player they choose to retain and may not reverse their decision.

📄 Posting of Winning Bids

  • Each evening, the current leading bids will be posted to an anonymous spreadsheet, showing:
    • The contract length and annual salary of the leading offer.
    • The total number of bids submitted for each player.
  • If no new bid is submitted for a player before the next deadline, that player will sign with the team holding the current leading offer.

⚖️ Commissioner Bidding Protocol

The commissioner (Ginter) will participate in bidding. To ensure fairness and transparency, all commissioner bids will be finalized and recorded prior to the receipt of any team submissions each day.
