Twins Roll to 8-3 Win Over Cardinals
The Minnesota Twins topped the St. Louis Cardinals, 8-3, with designated hitter Kal Daniels playing a big role. Daniels went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Twins in the win. With the win over St. Louis, the Twins improved to 37-48.

The Twins used some clutch hitting to beat the Cardinals, a good example being the at-bat of Brook Fordyce in the top of the seventh. With two down, Fordyce gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he hit a run-scoring double.

"Enjoyed this one," Fordyce told the Minnesota Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
