The Washington Senators went down to defeat to Frank Castillo and his New York teammates. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Mets. Castillo, the winner, moves to 7-7. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. The 'W' lifts New York's record to 50-36.
