Getting an impressive start from Randy Tomlin, Orlando beat Cleveland by the score of 10-2. Tomlin went the distance for Orlando. He gave up 2 earned runs on 7 hits. The third-place Devil Rays now have a 4-game winning streak.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when second baseman Craig Biggio, who finished 3rd in the UL in wins above replacement with 6.9 in 1988, hit a single. The Devil Rays went on to win.
