Today was Butch Henry's turn in the rotation for the Pittsburgh Pirates and he made the most of it, shutting out the Cleveland Spiders on 6 hits.

The 26-year-old left-hander led the Pirates to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 10 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Cleveland manager Wilson Ogle said. "Henry certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

His record this year is 8-7 in 18 starts and Henry has a 3.31 ERA.
