West Sensational for Rangers
|
The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Arlington Stadium, knocking off the Minnesota Twins, 6-0. Starting pitcher David West, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Rangers now have a mark of 42-46.
West tossed 110 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Rangers. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
West called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
