Minnesota shortstop Rey Ordonez was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Milwaukee Creams. Ordonez, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1995 draft, went 2-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Twins. Rob Dibble was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 18 save opportunities. Minnesota is now 40-50.

Ordonez provided the big break for the Twins in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly, helping Minnesota to get the win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Ordonez said.
