White Sox Lose, 6-2, at Metrodome
|
It was a good time at Metrodome, where fans came to watch the Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins get after it.
Benefiting from Reggie B. Williams's productive game, the Minnesota Twins downed the Chicago White Sox, 6-2. Williams was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Twins. Paul Spoljaric converted his 1st save in 1 tries.
Minnesota took a 5-2 lead on Williams's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Jeff Sellers in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Minnesota to the win.
In postgame comments to the Minnesota Times, Williams said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
Minnesota is now 42-49, while Chicago is 31-62.
