The Milwaukee Creams stopped the Minnesota Twins, 10-9, behind an impressive performance from Carlos Delgado. The 25-year old first baseman made life miserable for Minnesota pitching. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Milwaukee reliever Wally Whitehurst was the winner. His record is now 3-6. The losing pitcher was Gene Walter. Milwaukee is second in the Federal League Central Division with a record of 54-39.

It could have been a different outcome for Milwaukee, had it not been for Chipper Jones, the former first overall pick . Jones contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the 12th inning to put Milwaukee up, 10-9.

"We came out aggressive," said Creams manager Sean Norman. "We came out swinging the bats."
