Kiyohara goes 4-for-5 to Power Yankees Offense
The New York Yankees stopped the Orlando Devil Rays, 8-4, behind an impressive performance from Kazuhiro Kiyohara. The 29-year old first baseman made life miserable for Orlando pitching. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Ramon J. Martinez earned the win for New York. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 5-10. Orlando now has a 5-game losing streak.

One significant at-bat for New York came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the fifth. Yankees right fielder Bobby Abreu hit a 2-run double, which helped New York go on to win.
