Victory Pushes Creams Record to 55-39
|
It was a fun time at Milwaukee County Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Creams tangled.
Pitcher Tommy Greene was sensational for the Milwaukee Creams in his team's 4-1 triumph over the St. Louis Cardinals. Greene received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Milwaukee now sits at 55-39, while St. Louis falls to 44-49.
The situation was dicey in the top of the sixth. But this was not Tommy Greene's first rodeo. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and St. Louis trailing 1-0, Greene was able to pitch out of the jam when Mo Vaughn struck out.
