The Orlando Devil Rays got a stellar effort from pitcher Joe Johnson, helping Orlando score a 4-2 win over the visiting New York Yankees. Orlando now sits at 49-45, while New York falls to 31-62.

In the bottom of the first, Jeff Bagwell took a fastball from Brian Bohanon and pounded a 2-run home run to left. It put Orlando on top, 2-0. For the game, Bagwell went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
