Devil Rays Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus New York
The Orlando Devil Rays picked up a win at Orlando Citrus Bowl, knocking off the New York Yankees, 7-4. Starting pitcher Eric King played a key role in the triumph. At 50-45, the Devil Rays find themselves in third place in the Federal League East Division.

Jose Valentin chipped in for Orlando, stroking a crucial 3-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," King said.
