Multi-HR Game for Palmer in 5-2 Win
A 3-RBI performance from Dean Palmer helped the Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Mets, 5-2. Chris Hammond was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. With the win, Toronto improves its record to 5-4.

Will Clark had a big run-scoring double for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Toronto leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Bob Milacki and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1.

"We take it day by day here," said Palmer, "and today was a good one for us."
