Tigers Bystrom Dominates Pilots
|
Marty Bystrom of the Detroit Tigers humiliated the Seattle Pilots at Tiger Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Seattle manager Robert O'Neill, after the game.
Bystrom whiffed 7 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Bystrom said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
To date this season Bystrom is 7-8 with 20 starts and an ERA of 3.55 with 81 strikeouts in 144.1 innings.
