Yankees Come Back Late, Nip Twins
New York third baseman Travis Fryman was instrumental in his team's 3-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. Fryman, who is a two-time Gold Glove winner, went 3-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Yankees. Mike Henneman, credited with the save, is now 10 for 12 in save opportunities. Even with the win, the Yankees have a dismal 33-64 record.

Fryman delivered in the top of the eighth inning for New York. With the game tied and the bases empty, the third baseman hit a solo home run to right.

After the game, New York manager Tigerr Wolfe applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
