Orioles Win at Los Angeles, 6-2
|
The Orioles grabbed a win, 6-2, at Dodger Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Los Angeles pitcher Donovan Osborne. Osborne went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Baltimore reliever Tom Urbani was the winner. His record is now 3-3. Donovan Osborne took the loss. Even with the win, the Orioles have a dismal 35-65 record.
Bill Spiers's at-bat in the top of the sixth inning was a big one for Baltimore. Coming to bat with one out, a runner on 3rd and Baltimore trailing 2-1, the second baseman reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run.
"We had a nice day," said Baltimore skipper Daniel Ward.
