Spiders Lose, 6-2, at Comiskey Park
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 27-year old left fielder Junior Felix, the Chicago White Sox stopped the Cleveland Spiders, 6-2. The winner was Todd Burns, who threw 87 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits. Rich W. Robertson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

Felix had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The White Sox went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Felix told reporters after the game.

The last-place White Sox improved to 36-65.
