Orioles Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Los Angeles
|
Baltimore right-hander Rod Nichols pitched his team to victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The final score was 6-2. Baltimore now has a 3-game win streak.
Baltimore center fielder Kenny Lofton helped the Orioles to the win. In the top of the fourth inning, the two-time All-Star stroked a single. For the game, Lofton was 1 for 5.
"I liked his command," said Baltimore manager Daniel Ward. "Rod was throwing strikes."
