Rodriguez Leads Devil Rays to Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of the two-time Gold Glove winner Ivan Rodriguez, the Orlando Devil Rays stopped the Chicago Cubs, 8-0. Jimmy Key earned the win to go to 8-9. He allowed no earned runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. Shane Reynolds converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

Jody Reed had a nice at-bat for the Devil Rays with two out in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, the second baseman hit a 2-run single, which would prove important in the Orlando win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Rodriguez said after the game.
