Milwaukee and Kansas City duked it out at Royals Stadium and the Creams came out victorious.

The Milwaukee Creams picked up a win at Royals Stadium, knocking off the Kansas City Royals, 4-2. Starting pitcher Matt Young, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Young, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks.

Milwaukee relied on the hitting of Carlos Delgado to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Creams on top, 3-0. For the game, Delgado had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Young.

At 7-4, the Creams have played well so far.
