Orlando starter Joe Johnson pitched effectively against the Charlotte Knights at Comiskey Park. The right-hander led his team to a 7-2 win. The Devil Rays saw their win-loss record go to 55-48. At the same time, the Knights fell to 50-54.

Orlando used a timely hit from Lenny Dykstra to get the win. The center fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Devil Rays on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We take it day by day here," said Dykstra, "and today was a good one for us."
