Yankees Rally For Late Win Over Royals
New York left-hander Brian Bohanon made an effective start against the Kansas City Royals at Royals Stadium, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Reliever Mike Henneman picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Armando Benitez took the loss. New York, now 36-66, holds last place in the Federal League East Division.

New York used the timely hitting of Jeff Grotewold to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yankees on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nothing fazes Brian," said New York manager Tigerr Wolfe.
