Rockies Rally For Late Win Over Mets
Rockies designated hitter Bob Hamelin put his stamp on his team's 8-6 win over the New York Mets. Hamelin went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Colorado in the contest. With the win, the Rockies improved to 46-58.

Hamelin's key contribution came in the top of the ninth when he sent a 2-2 fastball into right-center for a 3-run home run. It put the Rockies ahead, 8-5.

"We got the victory," said Hamelin. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
