Daniels Impresses in Minnesota Loss
The Boston Red Sox had to overcome a big game from Minnesota left fielder Kal Daniels to leave Metrodome with a 7-4 victory. Daniels was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Boston bumps their record to 53-51 with the win.

Early in the game, right fielder Henry L. Rodriguez had a 2-run home run for Boston. It was his 28th home run of the season and put the Red Sox on top, 3-1.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Rodriguez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
