Dominant Performance by Robinson in Toronto Win
|
Jeff D. Robinson never let Seattle get something going. The Toronto right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Blue Jays to a 5-0 win. The Blue Jays raised their record to 59-45.
Robinson earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Toronto. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 8. Seattle hitters had little success against him.
"I liked his command," said Toronto manager Jose Mata. "Jeff D. was throwing strikes."
