Colorado beat New York at Mile High Stadium, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Bob Ojeda, who earned player of the game honors. In 7 innings, Ojeda surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. Robb Nen converted his 8th save in 11 tries.
