Mets Drop Rockies with Late Score
The New York Mets stopped the Colorado Rockies, 11-7, behind an impressive performance from Magglio Ordonez. The top prospect made life miserable for Colorado pitching. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Mets move to 59-47 with the win, while the Rockies drop to 48-57.

Ordonez had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Mets went on to win.
