Sebra Pitches San Francisco to Shutout Win
|
Bob Sebra of the San Francisco Giants spun his magic on the Baltimore Orioles today. He blanked them 6-0 on 3 hits, registering 6 strikeouts and 3 walks.
"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Sebra said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, San Francisco skipper Alen Maglajac said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
"Bob pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.
This season Sebra has a 12-5 record with a 2.66 ERA.
