Hatteberg Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dodgers
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 8-7, in United League action at Dodger Stadium, with Los Angeles pitcher Charles Nagy named player of the game. Cory Bailey, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. The win boosts the Dodgers to 48-59. The loss puts the Orioles at 45-61.
Scott Hatteberg was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Nagy said.
