Behind the bravura of first baseman Greg Colbrunn, the New York Mets topped the Colorado Rockies by the score of 9-1. Colbrunn slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Mets. The Mets have an impressive 68-39 record.

Colbrunn's key contribution came in the top of the fourth when he sent a 1-0 fastball into left for a 2-run home run. It put the Mets ahead, 3-1.
