Spirited fans at Kingdome greeted the Seattle Pilots for their clash with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Arizona Diamondbacks topped the Seattle Pilots, 4-1, with catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. playing a big role. Alomar Jr. was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Diamondbacks in the win. The losing streak for Seattle has now reached 5 games.

With the clubs tied 1-1 in the top of the sixth and a runner on 1st, catcher Alomar Jr., who is a two-time Gold Glove winner, hit a 2-run home run.
