Multi-HR Day for Burks as Blue Jays Overpower Orioles, 7-3
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 7-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Ellis Burks. Burks slugged 2 home runs for the Blue Jays on the day. The Blue Jays improve their record to 61-48 with the win over Baltimore.

Mark McGwire had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the first, when he hit a 2-run home run. His 42nd home run of the season put Toronto on top, 2-0.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," McGwire told the Toronto Observer.
