The New York Mets got a stellar performance from pitcher Takehiro Ishii, who handcuffed the Montreal offense en route to a 4-0 win at Olympic Stadium. Today's win puts New York at 61-48, while Montreal falls to 69-40.

The Mets picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said New York manager Michael Kritikos.
