Reds Topple Yankees with Late Rally
|
Cincinnati beat New York on the strength of starter Brad Radke's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. The Reds are now 62-48, while the Yankees fall to 39-69.
Cincinnati used the bat of Bobby Higginson to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Reds ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Radke.
