Avery 'Lights Out' in Baltimore Win
|
Baltimore starter Steve Avery put a stranglehold on the Florida offense. The left-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Orioles to a 5-0 win. The losing streak for Florida has now reached 7 games.
Avery gave Baltimore a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8.2 innings.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Avery.
