Tomlin Hurls Complete Game at Wrigley Field
|
Chicago rode a good effort from starter Randy Tomlin to beat the Chicago White Sox at Wrigley Field. The final score was 5-1. Chicago goes to 7-4 with the win.
Tomlin, who dominated for Chicago, earned the victory to move to 3-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 4. Chicago batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I had everything working," said Tomlin.
