White Sox Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Twins
|
Minnesota Twins starter Pedro Astacio was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Chicago White Sox, 5-3. Minnesota reliever Norm Charlton picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Steve Howe absorbed the loss. The last-place White Sox have lost 6 consecutive games.
Geronimo Berroa tagged a home run off Steve Howe in the bottom of the 15th. His 2-run blast put the Twins on top, 5-3. In all, Berroa had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 7.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Berroa.
