Expos Deal Tigers Painful Loss
The Montreal Expos picked up a win at Olympic Stadium, knocking off the Detroit Tigers, 6-5. On the mound for Montreal was left-hander Chris Nabholz, who played a pivotal role in the win. This win makes it 5 in a row for Montreal.

The Montreal win was a team effort. It included major contributions from, among others, Carlos Baerga. In the bottom of the ninth, the Montreal first baseman came to bat and hit a walk-off 3-run home run. It staked his team to a 6-5 lead.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Baerga said.
