Senators Get Road Win, 5-2
The Washington Senators took Baltimore pitcher Rod Nichols's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Memorial Stadium. The final score had Washington getting past the Orioles, 5-2. Nichols went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 3. The Orioles drop to 5-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1995 season.

Rafael Palmeiro had a go-ahead double for Washington in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the top prospect hit a 2-run double off Roger McDowell. His 1st double of the season made the score 3-2.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Palmeiro.
