Krivda Sensational for Padres
|
San Diego used a superb performance from starting pitcher Rick Krivda to down the Montreal Expos, 4-0. At 56-60, San Diego is in third place in the United League West Division.
Krivda, who dominated for San Diego, earned the victory to move to 3-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 7. Montreal batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Enjoyed this one," Krivda told the San Diego Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
