The New York Mets picked up a win at Dodger Stadium, knocking off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-1. Starting pitcher Frank Castillo, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Mets have an impressive 73-43 record.

Castillo, who finished 2nd in the UL in innings pitched with 259.0 in 1992, pitched a complete game for New York. Castillo surrendered 5 hits over 9 innings and struck out 4. With the win, he moves to 11-9 on the season.
