Bank One Ballpark was the site of a tense game between the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Arizona Diamondbacks did just enough to sneak past the Baltimore Orioles, 3-2, at Bank One Ballpark. Arizona pitcher Scott Sanders earned player of the game honors. Arizona reliever Mark Dewey got the win, raising his record to 5-6. Dwight Gooden was tagged with the loss. Danny Patterson notched his 25th save in 30 chances.

Having an impact for Arizona was Delino DeShields. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the 27-year old second baseman had a run-scoring single to make the score 3-2, Diamondbacks.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Arizona manager Alen Maglajac.

Arizona has now won 7 games in a row.
