Multi-HR Game for Ventura in 6-4 Win
A 4-RBI performance from Robin Ventura helped the San Francisco Giants beat the Washington Senators, 6-4. Randy Myers converted his 22nd save in 24 tries. San Francisco is now 70-51, 7½ games up in the United League West Division.

It could have been a different outcome for San Francisco, had it not been for Jose Canseco, the 31-year old first baseman . Canseco contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put San Francisco up, 5-4.

"I like our moxie," said Giants manager Alen Maglajac.
