Loss to Dodgers Extends Baltimore Losing Streak
|
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Charles Nagy was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Orioles, 7-3. Nagy got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Nagy allowed 3 earned runs. The 5th-place Dodgers have won 4 straight games.
Los Angeles needed the clutch hitting of Scott Hatteberg to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dodgers on top, 2-0. For the game, Hatteberg had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hatteberg. "And not try to do too much."
