White Sox Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Behind the bravura of third baseman Tony Batista, the Chicago White Sox topped the Minnesota Twins by the score of 8-6. Batista was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double for the White Sox. Chicago reliever Matt Mantei was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Trevor Hoffman took the loss for Minnesota. The White Sox have now won 5 straight.

Momentum swung to the White Sox in the top of the tenth, when Batista, who is rated as the 5th best prospect by BNN, hit a solo home run. It propelled the White Sox into the lead, 6-5.

"The vibe's good," said Chicago manager Tyler Vuxta. "We've got to keep it going."
