Pilots Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Rockies
Getting an impressive start from Randy Johnson, Seattle beat Colorado by the score of 2-1. Seattle currently is in second place in the United League West Division at 63-58.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Seattle left fielder Paul O'Neill, facing Robb Nen, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Pilots the 2-1 win.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Johnson said.
