Hammonds Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dodgers
The San Diego Padres went down to defeat to Bartolo Colon and his Los Angeles teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Dodgers. Los Angeles reliever Ricardo Rincon was credited with the win, to go to 2-3. Norm Charlton took the loss for San Diego. The Dodgers' win now puts them at 64-61.

With the clubs tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 11th and the bases empty, right fielder Jeffrey Hammonds hit a walk-off solo home run.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Colon.
